HID Laboratories, Inc. – has completely redefined large area lighting by inventing a solid state direct driver of industry standard high intensity discharge (HID) lamps. It transformed decades-old legacy HID lighting into an exceptionally energy efficient, highly cost-effective platform for smart grid and demand response services. Yet the company lacked brand awareness. SMG developed and a launched a compelling identity and rebranding effort which led to HID Labs to relaunch as Lumetric Lighting. The PR campaign positioned HID Labs as an innovative clean tech company which builds lighting products to dramatically reduce energy consumption while improving environmental sustainability.
